The name “Idwala” comes from the Zulu word meaning “rock” or “stone”. Our guest house is an original farmhouse which was built using natural rock over 100 years ago. This rock has been carried over into our bathrooms, which have natural rock features so that a clever mixture of luxury and nature is evident throughout the guest house.
